Rebellion has announced today over on its official Twitter account that Rogue Trooper Redux will be releasing on Nintendo Switch this October 17th in North America.
However, there is no release date as of yet for the UK, Europe, or other territories. The developer has said on Twitter that it’s still aiming for an October 17th release for the rest of the world, but a final release date will be revealed soon.

To coincide with the release date announcement, Rebellion has also released a new five-minute trailer that gives players a basic run down of what their mission will entail when they finally get to boot up their copy of the game. It’s a decent watch, actually, and definitely recommended viewing for anyone who is going in to Rogue Trooper Redux without ever having played the original version. Shame on you.
For those who aren’t aware of what Rogue Trooper Redux is, here’s a quick summary for you:
Rogue Trooper Redux is a remastering of the original Rogue Trooper that released in 2006 for the OG Xbox and PS2, with a Nintendo Wii version releasing in 2009. Rogue Trooper is a third-person shooter based on a popular comic strip, though how popular that comic was is debatable as this writer has never heard of it. Beano for life.
